Poster Guidelines

The maximum printed poster dimensions allowed are 4 x 3 ft., LANDSCAPE ORIENTATION (equivalent to European A0 format – 1189 mm x 841 mm). Please make sure your poster does not exceed the maximum size.

The poster area will be open for mounting as of Wednesday, June 29, 8:30 AM.

Mounting materials will be available on-site. All posters should be set up no later than the Welcome Session (12:30) and remain in place for the duration of the Scientific Meeting.

Please note that two posters will be placed on one side of the board, but each will be given its unique number.

Please make sure that you mount your poster on the poster board with the number corresponding to the number assigned to your poster that you received via e-mail.

The poster area will be located in the Exhibition Hall.

There will be two opportunities for dedicated poster discussion (no other sessions scheduled during that time) during the afternoon breaks on Thursday (15:40 – 16:15) and Friday (15:10 – 15:40).  Please make an extra effort to try to be at your poster during that time (as well as other times that are convenient).

A small committee will be viewing the posters and will identify some that stand out.  There are many possible ways a poster can stand out – such as content, quality, the way it looks, etc.  Three posters (one each in Biology, Clinics and Physics) will be chosen for a special prize. The Poster Awards will be announced on Friday from 9:30 AM in the Exhibition area.

Please remove your poster on Friday, July 1, by 2:00 PM.

The conference organisers cannot accept responsibility for any material left behind. The organisers are not responsible for any loss or damage to any posters that are not removed by the specified time. Posters left behind after this time will be automatically destroyed.
